Miriam Akkermann (live electronics), Eunice Martins (piano, vocals), and Laura Mello (piano, vocals, live electronic) play a composition created live that enters into direct interaction with selected short films. Inspired by parameters such as movement, color quality, and the light intensity of the images, correspondences are thus created between live composition and experimental films, which also extend beyond the length of the film in temporally independent fashion. The sounds created live are distributed across the six channels of the cinema’s sound system to add a spatial element. A fundamental element of the entire composition and the focus of the project are developing the tonality of the film image and cinema space. The program includes films by Peter Hutton, MM Serra, Patrice Kirchhofer, Hans Richter, Doris Schmid and Heiko Arendt.
